USB not see i3 and other stuff...

Hey there!!

My i3 has worked very well until I tried the updated POI loader, which obviously didn't work!! SInce then, I tried to reload the old one I had stored, and reinstalled the usb drivers, webupdater etc, and have even reset my i3. the PC now recognises the i3, but it doesn't want to know when it comes to installing the drivers!!!

The i3 seems to work fine in the car, which is a relief!! :D

The other thing is all these maps and unlock codes, what's all that about??!!

I'm planning a trip to Le Mans this year, and the City Select Europe v7 doesn't cover that far down the country. All I am likely to need is France for the trip. Have I seriously got to cough up £90 or whatever for France, and from what I've read on here it will be on an additional Transflash? Can't the existing 256mb card take more maps on it? As I am semi technology dumb, another question, does the unit work without the transflash, and are the POI's stored on an internal memory, or on the card?
