I tried downloding maps into my i3, I used g start that came with the Garmin 320. (different unit I know).
Now I am locked out, all I get is this page when I turn unit on. see pic -->

I tried reloading software version 2.7 but it can no longet connect to unit.
Will I need to send it back for repair.

Yes, I saw that after upgrading to 2.7. I think I took the card out and put it back in to fix it (with the unit switched off.) |

I'd take yours back then mate, everyone else's does!
Look on the RHS of the unit. It's tiny I know. |

Oh Yes! so it does!!
I hadn't bloody noticed that!
How embarrassing!
Right, now I have found it, I have taken it out and replaced it as suggested, but still no luck, I am completely locked out.
I sent an e-mail to the Garmin tech help on the Garmin site and got an emmediate response (automated ?) telling me to post the unit to them with a covering letter. |
