i was just reading the installation guide on the spoken poi alerts that replace the bells on the tom tom, and i was wondering how you specify the speed for each camera? because in my tom tom one, the list of poi's just says gatso, but surely for each different speed of gatso there would need to be different sub categories and you would need to know which was which?
or is it simplier than all of that?

You are right there, but when you downloaded the speedcamera data, you MUST have already decided which set of files to install. There are versions with everything in one file, split into camera types and split into the different speeds. It is all in the "Which files should i use.txt" file in every download, and explained in detail in Privateers Beginner's guide HERE |

Or you can go all the way with extra voices.
Have a look at this for which files and then watch this flash demo for how to get the voice warnings.

okay i have just put the speed zone alerts on, but when i'm viewing the map all thats showing up is 30mph mobile signs and nothing else!
have i done something wrong or is this just the view im looking at that only shows this? |

Are you 'viewing' in Browse Map? If so have you Enabled all the Camera Groups in Options > POI?
You will have to zoom in fairly close as there is a limited number of POI Icons that will display on the screen at any one time.
