toshiba e755 and syson gps cf plus II

hi i have a toshiba e755 wifi running wm2003 and a sys on gps cf plus II the gps cf card show a red led but no software can find the hardware
using tomtom 2.24 set to nmea 4800 the only port available are:
1 native ir
2 com2
3 com3
4 USB Cable
no one of this comunicate with the gps

using destinator 3: no gps found or cannot open port
using any port/range

using winfast navigator show an error :could'nt find value for 3 time
then set to nmea first and the available port are
IrDA com 1
USB COM9
IrCOMM COM3
USBSER COM2

connect only on IrDA COM1 but no comunication with the cf gps card using any range

any help would be appreciated

it was a defective item
got a new one work like a sharm with tom tom 2 and destinator 3
i'm very happy with this one!
