speed camera on tomtom one

hi can you help

ive downloaded the poi files containing the speed camera
and installed them in the great britain map folder

but cant get them to work

i copied all the bmp images and all the other files and not just cut and paste the folder like it said

but i cant get the thing to work still

please help

Have you enabled the new categories of POI?

Hello

Ive just done this ....

Do you want just standard camera types i.e Gatso , Mobile , specs .... or Gatso 30 zone , 50 zone etc

If you want the first style open the folder call ov2 bmp files I believe there are 12 files , 6* ov2 and 6* bmp

Copy the all (cntrl A right click copy) and then drop them in to the great britain map folder

Once there all copied across - disconnect the Tom tom and start it up

You now need to enable you new Points of interest - to do this go to Change Preferences - Manage POI - Enable disable POI

Go through the list and put ticks next to your new catagories

Then - Go Change Preferences - Manage POI - Warn when near POI and you can set up warning beeps etc to alarm you of them



If you want the full list i.e Speed zones - Gatso 30 , 50 , 60 ,70 etc then DO NOT copy the files from the folder called "ov2 bmp files"

Open the folder called Speed Zoned from the Zip you downloaded and then open each sub folder i.e gatso specs and mobile and copy the ov2 and bmp files within them in to the great bitain map folder - Again DO NOT just copy the folders , copy the contents

Then enable as per the above and ad warning sounds etc

inside the "go" folder there are now 2 new folders called
"poicapture" and
"SdkRegistry"

no Ov2 bmp
