Thefts of Tom Tom

Following a vast increase in thefts of these units from vehicles (and no doubt other brands) police in this area are advising that you should remove the mounting devises as well as the unit when leaving the vehicle unattended.
This is difficult with Tom Tom as the mounting plate cannot be readily removed from the windscreen.
The point of this post is that I have contacted Tom Tom and suggested that a new mount be devised that can be totally and easily removed leaving no evidence that any sytem is fitted.Their reply was that they would look into the problem. If other users agree and also made similar suggestions to Tom Tom perhaps it might happen
