just bought mine from Halfords on the box it says free upgrade but i need a dvd been on the mio site should halfords have given me this DVD ???? the system is running on V1 and i would like the update

Yes - Halfords SHOULD have given you the upgrade DVD IF they had any left!! Mio sent the upgrade DVD's at the end of November and then promptly ran out of stock - their web site states they are available again at around £110.00!! Your first point of call should be Halfords.

| If you have just purchased this? should it not be a 268 plus with V2 already installed? If you have paid full price for a 268, I would complain that they have sold you an out of date item. |

| Quite a few 268/269 models about in retailers still. They should offer upgrade DVD on all units where advertised on box - problem is, Mio ran out at end of November of upgrade disks. They are now avaialble on Mio web site at around £110!!! Also on fleabay at about £10 but.......... |

| went into halfords and had to demand the upgrade ...i paid £154 for the unit and now have my free upgrade thanks for all your help |
