  1. Download the latest zipfile release from this site, not the ALK site.

  2. Look in the "\single file version\ov2 bmp files" directory for the .OV2 and .BMP files, and rename them to "Speed Cameras.*".

  3. Use ActiveSync to copy the two files to the "\Save" directory on your PDA.

  4. Restart CP6 and wait a couple of minutes for the files to be imported and deleted. This is a one-off wait.

  5. Go into POI Alert settings and make sure that "Custom\Speed Cameras" is ticked.

  6. On your desktop PC, copy the same files into the "\Program Files\CoPilot\PocketPC6\EU\Save" directory, and restart the desktop program.

NB: If you import the files with more than one name, you will have to delete all of the custom POI's first, by deleting all of the "aopoi.*" files from the "\Save" directories.

or the really easy way if to just copy the ov2 files direct from the camera database file to the save folder on the sd card

Thanks All. I think I have done it correct as per above. I'm not the most
technical minded doing these things.
Is there a way to know if it will work without having to do a journey and approach a camera.
.
Regards
Alan

  1. Go into GPS settings and switch off the live GPS.

  2. Open an existing GPS track file for a day where the first trip passed cameras, and you know what the destination was.

  3. Set up a trip with that destination.

  4. Go back into GPS settings and start the track playback.

  5. Close the GPS settings and watch the track playback at a speed that you can set in GPS settings.

Thanks for the prompt reply Ian. Another query... When I go into Open GPS track then into Co-Pilot_UK all I get for the track name is Co-Pilot_UK_Sample.gps and nothing with old trips. Any ideas.
.
Thanks

If you select "All Folders" in the open dialog, you should see one per day. I think the actual folder is "/my documents/gpstracks" on your card.
