MDPPC150 not getting satellite lock

I live between Wigan and Ormskirk and for the last week or so I have had major problems getting my MEDION to acquire sat signals, TomTom is the worst but even Navigon 5 has probs, I also have a cheap BT GPS receiver (qstarz) which runs in conjunction with tomtom on my motorola a1000 and it does not seem to have the same probs.

There is a firmware update for the GPS on the Medion website - have you tried installing that?

My device is only 2 months old, it already has this firmware on it, thansk for the suggestion though
