Favourite locations in the .cfg file

After opening Great_Britain_Map,cfg file using PoiEdit I notice that I have multiple entries for most of my favourites. I suspect that the .ov2's displayed are the Favourites and Recently visiteds. Is this correct?

Can I remove the duplications?

I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

To the best of my knowledge PIOEdit doesn't open the .cfg file.

If you want to remove the Favourites and Recent Destinations, just felete the .cfg file and TT will create a new one on the next start up. However you will lose all your Personal Preference Settings.

If you leave them they will gradually be overwritten by newer entries as there is a limit, I think, of 24 Destinations and 36 Favourites.

I'm using POIEdit v3.8.0. It certainly opens TomTom 5 .cfg files.

If other, non-displayed, items are in the .cfg file restoring after editing would be very dangerous.
