Hi,

I am thinking of getting an MD95025 (I believe it's also know as an MNA 100) and running TomTom 5 on it and running it as an all in one sat nav for the wife and the inlaws when they visit the UK.

I currently use TT5 with an Ipaq 4150, linked to my Road Angel for the GPS feed, so I'm more than happy with TomTom, I'm just wondering if anyone uses the TT5/MD95025 combination, and if they could tell me how well it works - mainly because I'm a little concerned that the processor speed is signifcantly below that of the Ipaq that I'm using - I've seen TomTom 5 on an older Ipaq, and it seemed ok, but I've never used it, so I have no idea how it copes with POI's (specifically when using it for warning about speed cameras) etc.

Any opinions greatfully received!

Cheers

Mark.

Can anyone even confirm that running TT5 on a PNA100 / MD95025 is a viable option??

My old boss is running TT5 on a Medion of some description, so I assumed it wouldn't be a problem - some of the posts on here regarding other Medion models are making me wonder a bit though!

Cheers

Mark.

Hi friends...I got a problem too...

So, I have MD 96800. GPS works fine with maps and software that came with it.

One cd is named as Smarthpath Trip and the other is Smarthpath City.

It is the software from NAVMAN i believe and there is lots of maps...so i would like to install it to use that maps...but...

Im new in this so i will most likely ask a stupid questions...

Well, when i insert cd the app starts...I have several options like...Install Smarthpath Trip, Install GPS support...Add Map...etc.

I have installed the Smarthpath Trip and GPS Support. MD 96800 aske me where to install...to be correct i have installed it in deafult directory. Installation goes smooth...no reports of errors...but...!!!

When i try to start the Smarthpath GPS it says this...
"Cannot find `TOMTOM GPS` (or one of its components).Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required liraries are available."

Same thing is when i try to start Smarthpath Trip to view the maps.

Help please,
Bolerules.
