on the summary for tomtom it says 'poor performance from a market leader - good software that is let down by mapping that isn't as accurate as it should be'
but the 'editors choice' is Navicore Personal software, but says both use Tele Atlas
so does anybody agree with this ? and how can it be different if it uses the same maps

While it is possible that TomTom and NaviCore have licensed different subsets of the TeleAtlas base data this is still a highly questionable conclusion.. Wonder if they actually tested the programs.

While I can't comment on the actual reviews in this particular case because I haven't seen them. Speaking generally, I have often seen comparative reviews where not all of the products are tested by the same person. This can and does lead to inconsistencies like this.
