I have just got Tom Tom 5 working on my Ipaq rx3715 and can't seem to get the GPS receiver to be recognised. I have connected via bluetooth SPP slave and paired the device (a BT GPS) and all seems to be fine but Tom Tom says there is no GPS device. When configuring 'other bluetooth device I have tried all of the options but I thought Bluetooth serial ports would be valid...I'm a bit stuck now!
Any ideas for me to try please??? :x

Jim, Welcome along, try using other cabled NMEA device, then the BAUD speed on the next screen, followed by outgoing bluetooth port on the next screen, alternately go with the other BT device and make sure the GPS unit can see the sky (not indoors) and wait the first aquisition might take 15 - 20 min dependent upon the GPS unit you are using, to prove you are comunicating with the GPS device go to the GPS set-up screen and make sure the yellow/ Blue icon is spinning, if not the problem is with the BT set-up/ TomTom GPS set-up - Mike
