Stocking filler for your GPS
Having trouble hearing the voice commands on your GPS?
You can get a hands free mobile car kit from most outlets.
I use one of these kits not for my mobile but for my iCN 510. The voice amplified through the adapter is something to be reckoned with; with the loudest of music you can hear it crystal clear.
You will also need a cigarette socket splitter that gives you 2 female outputs. One for the Navman power supply & one for the powered speaker that comes with the car kit. (Obtainable from most car accessory shops)
Use the kit like you would on your mobile but substitute the phone for the GPS, covering the speaker with the clothes peg type microphone.
I have purchased 2 of these kits for friends that I have converted over to the world of GPS.
