Hi foxyuk,
They sound like they are POI icon files.
I know that Cannon is an electronics chain (digital cameras, printers, etc.) but I'm not sure about the others. You'd have to ask the person who supplied you with the files/created the files.

Hi foxyuk,
Bo Peep is right, they are what they say they are. ;)
They are alternative .BMP files that are the icons that show the position of the camera sites on the TomTom screen.
I use the "Pearce" ones for speed-zoned mobile sites, which are excellent. I think they were created by our very own Andy_P2002!

Are this different bmp files for the type of cameras?
Or have i got the wrong end of the stick. |

The Alternative Bmp's give the option to change the visual display of a cameras location. You only need the one bmp and it has to be named identically (not the extension) to the ov2 file.
