TomTom Navigator - changing screen detail

I am sure that I read somewhere on these forums, how changes to the navigator screen details could be done, but I cannot find my way back to the information. (I have looked, I promise.)

Specifically I would like to remove the plus and minus signs in the top left and top right corners of the screen.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be grateful.

can't be done. You are probably thinking about the ability to change color schemes.

It used to be an option in TomTom3 but it's one of the things they removed in the 'upgrade'

Thanks for the replies. It's a pity as the four-way rocker switch on the Axim 50V is much more useful for zooming than the screen + and - 'hotspots' when actally driving along.
