With all the deals that are going on at the moments on all the GPS kit, does any one think they may get even cheaper in the sales?

Yes I think they will & as sat nav gets even more popular the prices come down more & more.

The question is can you wait to get your new grown up toy ? Wink

i personally don’t think that satnav will get that much cheaper, i don’t think you will get much savings in January. Satnav has dropped over the last two years from about 1k for a decent in car system to about £300, I cant see it dropping anymore, you will always get cheap products out there but cheapest is not always the best.

I did paid about £1000 for my first sav nav system, so this time I want a bargin :D

Also I agree cheap is not always best, but being cheap does always mean it's bad as well.

Don't you like the 550tm, I quite like the idea of free traffic updates (if they work well)

My personal opinion is that the device is big a wee bit too big for me, the GO is big but the screen is the biggest part of the GO not the plastic casing and buttons. TMC is good if the coverage in your area is good and what coverage it will cover I don’t know. I have not used the TMC on the Navman so sorry i cannot comment but i would recommend that you call them on 01293 780 500.
