Sorry to be a bit of a pain, but I wonder if somebody would be kind enough to send me a simple, step by step instruction on how to install the above recent releases....I have tried to follow the instructions, but got myself completely screwed up. I have an IPAQ 4150, purchased shortly before it was dropped. Perhaps I should explain that I am an OAP...hence my frustrations.
The capture device I think would be an excellent addition, but I also don't know how to turn my existing Camera 'Specs' software to show the relative speeds. I appreciate your patience...thanks in advance,

Hi Mike,
You’re asking for two things here, which I’ll deal with separately.
Let’s get your SPECS database working first. You mention your existing SPECS camera software, but what are you using? Is it the PocketGPSWorld camera database?
If this is the case, the you will have one .OV2 file (and its associated .BMP file) in your map folder for the following:
pocketgps_uk_specs
IF you wish to have speed-zoned SPECS, then you need to remove the above (.OV2/.BMP) files and add the following, which can be found in a different folder in the zip you that you downloaded:
As for the POI Capture utility, download the file, place the .CAB file in the root directory of your storage card on your PocketPC. Use the PocketPC’s file manager and run the .CAB file, which will install the POI Capture utility, and its associated files.

Thanks for that, I'll try to give it a go! Can I add the 'variable specs' to my POI Edit file for auto update ? I can see in POI Edit that I have all the Gatsos and Mobiles at 30, 40 50 etc, and would now like to add the specs, but I just don't know how I managed to get these first ones showing up and not the specs !! Thanks.
