Tomtom Can't see Navman

having a problem making tomtom on a pda 3800 compaq see my GPS 1000 Navman reciever. How do i achieve this or is it not possible. The GPS is picking up a sat signal.

is the bluetooth browser seeing the gps receiver if it is then youll need to set the com port i think ipaqs are usually com8

The Gps i have is not a bluetooth connection. it slots into the top of the pda. I am not sure if i have the correct drivers. But the gps is picking up sat signals. When the tomtom launches or u go into configure it does not give a option for the gps reciever i have. it just say's other
