Using Mio 168 in USA

The power adaptor that came with the Mio168 came with 2 fittings, a uk power socket and a europe power socket. I see as an extra accessary they also sell a usa power socket fitting.

I'm taking my Mio168 to the usa. Can I simply plug in my uk power adaptor into the mains via a USA power adaptor or do I need to buy the extra accessory?

you can plug it in. there's no logic/circuitry in that adapter.
