POI's mental block

Hi All
Mental block.
What am I missing?
Trying to download POI’s. I think I am following the process correctly.
But I get a default box appear saying “No storage available on device”.
These are the steps I follow in POI editor
File
Open Text file
Select what I want to up load
Open
Save to device
Select icon file path
Ok
After about 10 seconds I get the red X box with “No storage available on device”.
I think this is the procedure that I have followed before, as I have successfully uploaded in the past.
Any help appreciated
