Bluetooth head unit and the 910???

Hi guys,

HAving just bought a 910 ( loving it and had none of the usual problems...touch wood!). I am currently using the bluetooth headset but want to be able to use my IPOD through it into the car stereo. Does anyone have any experience using the 910 with a bluetooth car head unit? Do I need to buy anything extra? Here's a link to one I found...

I dont think that one will work for you

You need a unit that supports A2DP Protocol, those are the only ones that work with the GO X10s (After much back and forth with TomTom support to get this info!!)

So you need to make sure that the headunit you buy is not only bluetooth but A2DP compliant (Normally in the spec sheet somewhere, or a call to the manufacturers helpline will normally get the info you need)

I had a quick look at the link you provided and it seems that unit is Bluetooth handsfree only, not A2DP (Most of the units on the market dont support it yet!)

Found this Bluetooth cassette that supports A2DP but I don't know if it will be any good.
