Loading map source city navigator for the first time

Hello everyone - just bought a Street Pilot III de-luxe, and I'm having problems with the unlock wizard. After entering the 25 digit unlock code (and I've tried with and without the dashes), I get the message "There is a problem with the unlock wizard registry. Please re-install unlock wizard and try again". Being a novice as far as computers are concerned, I'm stuck. Can anyone help ??. Thanks.
