1st real Test

Took the iCN630 from home near Bordeaux to Barcelona and then drove around the city to a variety of locations. No problems en route except that it tried to get me to pull off the motorway on the A61 and to rejoin it for no reason. Did the same on the return journey. The system generally did well in Barca. Naturally it was confused by roadworks etc but seemed to reroute quickly and easily. Problems occurred when told to bear lt/rt when there were multiple slip roads within metres of each other. Not sure there is a way round this other than having some knowledge of the route to be taken. I still have problems when asking it to take me to an intersection. Road one is found OK but then invariably road two does not appear on the drop down list and even after typing its full name it cannot be found. It seems then one has to go back to the main menu, start again , select address, locate it, go to 'show' and then work the cursor across the map to find the junction required. Have I missed something here?



In sum, impressed, and if you are patient enough ideal for big cities that you don't know. At least one is not encumbered by the frustration of what you know to be a bizarre route.
