Question about tom tom 300

If I ordered this from global positioning systems.co.uk then it already comes with the speed camera database. Is this the pocketgps camera database and will the database come in speed zoned format, i.e telling you what the limit is for that camera.

Also i heard something about the new version of software limiting POIs, does this affect the camera database and therefore should be avoided?

GlobalPositioning have a licence from us to pre-install our database on their retail units. I suspect they would be more likely to pre-install the single file versions rather than speed zoned but you'd have to ask them.

Either way, it's a simple matter to change this when you get it by downloading our database and installing the format you prefer.

The latest version has a 29 POI cateogoy limit which doesn't affect the database unless you install a number of other custom POI categories as well.
