Does anyone know the command for this in a customized tomtom.mnu file. SkuX's menubuilder omits this command so it is unavailable if you use and alternate menu.
I've tried MENU_ITEM|DIAL_POI (a GO command?) but this keeps tomtom.mnu from loading. The default menu appers instead.
I've also downloaded some ".cap" files from a GO site. They show the icon for the function but do not work.
So I guess I'm looking for a list off TT Nav 5 specific commands.
A tomtom.mnu text file allows you to moved your most used functions to the first page. As my iPaq thumb pad left/right buttons will page forward and backwards through the menus, I've ditched the page arrow replacing it with a command button. That gives me six functions per page.
SkuX's online menu builder allows you to grahically build a menu online and then download the resulting tomtom.mnu file. Too cool!
If I could only add back the default "call number" button, I'd be happy. |

For further information look here.
I guess that you already know that "Call Number" only works with PDAs that have a built-in telephone? Please see here for further information.

If I add the MENU_ITEM|Task_Dial_POI command it does not appear in the customized menu yet it does appear in the default hidden menu.
I have to recheck this but I thought TT Nav 5.1 on my iPaq 4355 would dial via Bluetooth my Bluetooth capable Motorola phone.. |

Looks like the command must reside in the menu pages and not the Preferences pages. Haven't got it to dial yet but I can't Outlook to dial either now.
Even if it won't dial it still displays the POIs phone number that can then be manually dialed.
Thanks for keeping me trying. |
