I have just received a navman 4400 and I am very dissapointed with it. I use it with a HP2210 running windows PC2003, and I am getting fed up with the lockups.
each time I switch the computer off I have to do a soft reset. Also I find it takes a long time also to get a fix. I understand the lockup problem is well lnown. _________________ huw |

The lockups are common on the 2210, and it does drive you crazy. Navman are working on a fix to resolve this issue. Not sure how long it will take, but a fix is being written as I type this. |

The problem with 4400+h2100 is more than navigation lockups, it's also the crippled powering up issue as huw and others in this group have pointed out. (I also experienced this too) I don't know whether the power soft-reset is only happening to h2100 or other iPAQs or even other pocket PCs.
Has anyone upgraded his/her older iPAQ to WM2003 and started to have lockups etc.? Is this really to do with Windows or something peculiar with the newer iPAQs only? We might not care the final verdict as long as we have a fix, the sooner the better. |

I haven't experienced this problem on my 2210 and SmartST Pro. |
