Last night I received a call and had to drive from London To Skegness –thank god for my GPS gods know where the hell I was but it got me there far quicker than I would have got there using a map.
Just outside Peterborough on 2 occasions the system froze, it meant pulling over and carrying out a soft reset. (God it scary on those road to Spalding at 2.30 in the morning.) Any idea what would have caused my system to hang?

| Lee are you running on a 5450, 5500, 2210 or Pocket PC 2003 ? Are you running the Navman 4400 or 3400/3450 ? |

voice guidance was off, my unit is a IPAQ 3970 using Navman 3400 software (updated version0 and the gps jacket supplied.

Lee,
I have also had this problem when I've had voice guidance switched off. I switched it back on and did a soft reset, and all was well again. I have already reported this problem to Navman. I also use a 3970. I might dust off the old 3850 and try it with that setup. Anyone else care to experiment with voice guidance switched off?
