Hi

I have a set of CDs with UK ST V3 and the European maps and a set of CDs with USA ST 2005 and USA Maps.

At the moment I have to have the UK ST V3 Desktop software loaded on one PC to add/remove European maps, and the USA ST 2005 Desktop software loaded on a different PC to add/remove the USA maps. (The ICN 510 is quite happy synchronising with either of them)

I can't seem to install both of the software systems on a single PC as each one deletes the other.

Anyone any ideas on a workaround so I don't have to have 2 PCs ?

Al

Do you need to have both installed? Have you tried seeing if the 2005 Desktop will recognise and transfer the V3 maps? I'm sure that when I had V3 maps of the EU and US then the EU Desktop would transfer the US maps, although I appreciate that yours is a slightly different case.

That is exactly my point :-) You are showing as having V3 of both the Europe and USA maps, so you can happily mix them. I have V3 of the European maps and the ST 2005 version of the USA maps.

And answering Tim, no the later ST 2005 software (US-version remember, which I think is relevant), will not recognise the European maps. Hence my question.

Cheers

Al

Hi
I am running SmartST 2005 on my desktop. Below is the version number that can be found in the About drop down.
SmartST Desktop: v3.5.0.6
Which I believe is the latest.
What you cannot do is mix V3 and V3.5 maps on the same card.
Hope this helps.

Hi
Another thought, if you have registered all your software, old and new. Have you recovered all your registration information? This can be found in another drop down. You have to be on line to do this.
