Memory Map, Ipaq 4700, Globstat SD501

I cant get Memory Map to recognise my Globstat SD501 GPS card - fires up fine in GPS Info, locks on to satellites no problem, on COM Port 6.

When I try "GPS - Setup" in Memory Map, and select NIMH and COM 6, 4800, iots says "cannot open com port"

Any ideas/solutions?

Yes. Do a soft reset before running the program. And set it to NMEA, not NIMH ;-)

Sorry - that was a typo on my account, it is set to NMEA, and I do a soft reset each time I put the SD501 in......I know it wont function at all unless you do this.

Have you got it to work with 4700 and Memory Map?, if so, can you put up explicit steps/settings
