Hi

I have recently purchased Destinator 5 (USA) for a holiday trip. I cannot get it to connect to my Tomtom Bluetooth GPS. I had it working briefly the first time I switched on. But cannot repeat the process.
When I use FIND GPS or SET GPS I get COM PORT BUSY or CANNOT FIND GPS.
The same Ipaq (2210) plus Tomtom Navigator 5 + same BT Gps works perfectly.
Destinator Support Europe tell me its not a Destinator problem!!

Help - Its urgent as I go on holiday soon!!! Sad

Thanks CurrentGps

I'll try and help, but what is Destinator 5?????????

If it's Destinator PN, then here is what I know.

If you install TomTom5 then Destinator afterwards, I've heard of issues with bluetooth connections due to a TomTom file left behind! You need to Hard Reset your device to be sure and then reinstall Destinator.

Thanks Spence

It is Destinator PN. I am trying to avoid a hard reset so I was using remote registry editor trying to find the offending setting / entry. But I may have no other option.

Regards

I performed a hard reset and that seems to have fixed it!!
