which gps for europe

Hi,
i am a complete novice with regards to gps, having never even seen one, so here's my question.

I am looking for a system that will work both in the UK and Europe, i would like detailed maps of both. The unit I would prefer is a (plug in and go) so to speak as i can then change vehicles. Budget of around £500 .

if youre looking for something that is plug and go..... one of the TomTom Go range should suit although you may have to purchase extra maps for europe

If you need street level detail of europe i would recommend that you look at:

I would look at the Navman ICN 520 Premium as it comes with street level detail of Europe.
