I just brought a new TomTom GO 300 (not the pocketPC). And I am trying to find updates such as speed camera POI but I am unable to find it. The TomTom web site is currently down http://www.tomtom.com/custom_errors/under_maintenance.html?ID=3&Language=1&M=0 .

Is there any chance anybody will be able to post links etc for me to download.

THANKS IN ADCANCED!!!

Top right hand corner "download the database".

Unzip the files on your PC.

Then copy the OV2 and BMP files to your Storage Card into the Country Directory (e.g. \Great Britain) and enable them in the POI screen.

NOTE - Just copy the single file version [pocketgps_uk_gatso] once you learn how to do this you will be able to customise your files easily yourself.

Let me know how you get on.

Forgot to mention - BACK UP your SD Card before making any changes.

Simply select everything on it and copy this to a directory on your PC - you can always copy it back if you make a mistake then.

If I wanted to erase everything from the TomTom memory do I just format it and then just copy everything over after deleting. And it will work like normal.

That is a last resort - dont do it.

I thought I will try and copy the whole zip file on the TomTom but it was taking the so I cancelled the operation and now when it comes to deleting that zip file it will not now. It says "cannot delete due to I/O error". I tryed to just copy the folder "ov2 bmp files" but that came up with error aswell but that deleted from TomTom memory no problem.
