The Full Postcode is a non-starter really. There is a limit on how big a file you can load as a POI - 65,000 items. If the Postcode is divided into files that big it means you would have 30 files!! The limit on the 510 is 24 custom POI's.
For Low Bridges, if you do a search for 'bridges' you should find several threads on where to obtain these. _________________ Richard

It's a shame that the navman forum is not available, as there was a member who was a lorry driver who posted a link, saying that he had created a POI file of low bridges in the UK and that if you sent him an email address he would send it FOC. |

Further to my previous reply:
After googling on low bridge POI, the following link may be of interest
http://www.lowbridges.com/Description.htm
It it not free at 39.95 including updates, but look like it does what you need. Although it is in tomtom format, there are free converters on the web which can change it to .csv format for downloading to your 510. |

Sadly with any GPS product it requires a PC or similar to download POI information.
Accordingly, the folks on this or any other forum can only point you the direction of available POI's, and if you have not got the use of a PC it is pointless asking the question. Therefore, it seems a no brainer unless you are expecting some kind benefactor to provide one free. |

Dilemma,
Unfortunately, even with a kind benefactor, or even if you purchased the POI's that you after, you still require a PC to be able to load the POI files to the GPS Unit. There is no other way to get the POI data onto the unit.
I suggest you find a friend who will allow you use of their computer, that way you can either locate a file of the POIs wanted or purchase the POIs system as mentioned previously.
Best Regards,
DGreen |

I'm sure the lorry driver you refer to is also a poster on this forum. He went under the name of Banger on the Navman forum and probably has a similar one on this forum. Try searching for him. |
