new wrning sounds

hi now i have looked for the answer to this but no luck so here goes,
i have a medion pda with tomtom 5.10 (5160) have down loaded the chk file ut still have the same sounds, can i use the new sounds on my set up of tomtom if so a little help would be fantastic many thanks great site too.

You need to put the new data.chk file in My Device\Program Files\Navigator.

I'm guessing you put it on the SD card.
