Depends what you want to see...
There's a single file with all the cameras in it.
There's the ov2 bmp file with the same cameras in it, but split by type.
The the Speed Zoned set which splits them further and tells you the speed limit. If you use these you need the redlight, specs and temp files from the ov2 bmp folder for a complete set. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Further to this, I have the latest camera database installed and working, however when the next update is downloaded, presumably it will reinstal any individual cameras that are I have deleted. ? I have taken 3 out in my local area as 2 were temp ones in motorway roadworks and the other one has never be there, just the usual signs |

I haven't reported them yet. What is the best way, can I give the database/camera number ?
Going back to the original question downloading the latest release would reinstall the previously deleted cameras, unless off course they have been deleted from your main list? |

Putting the latest database on will reinstall the cameras that you deleted.
Until you and the rest of us inform them of changes errors will remain: PocketGPS are not psychic.
If you browse the map and click on the relevant cameras you will get their names. Post these to Cameras@PocketGPSworld.com.
Please send them any changes at least 10 days before the end of the month to give them time to update the files.
You may also like to pick up Scaredycats "Quickam" application which allows you to enter new cameras with two presses of the screen

Find the "More apps for your Go" (or something like that) thread for info on this. |

Whether you use scaredycat's Quickam or do it manually, I find the easiest way to send in updates is to save any new cameras you find (with a name that includes the speed limit in it somewhere) into a seperate POI category (I call mine "new cams" and have a yellow warning triangle as the icon) and then just send the "newcams.ov2" file to Cameras@PocketGPSWorld.com as an email attachment once a month.
Any cameras which have gone can be marked as POIs in the same way., and anything that needs a bit of description (like "its a red light cam not a speed cam and the limit is 40 not 50") or can be mentioned in the email too.
At the end of the month, when you download the new database, you get that warm feeling of pride when you check all your updates are there :D
Then, just delete everything from your "newcams" POI and start afresh.
Sad I know, but I find camera hunting quite addictive! 8O |
