GPS Assist question

I'm fairly new to this add on and need some help with settings. I travelled up the M1 on Saturday and I kept getting alerted to safety cameras on adjacent roads which was a bit irritating. I think this can be reduced by changing the Detection settings, either the angle and/or detection rate. What, in other users experience, works best?

Know what you mean. It does get a bit annoying sometimes. All I did was to reduce the detection angle a little. Seemed to solve most of the spurious alarms.
