ACER N35 & TomTom 5 GPS Signal Issue

I am having problems getting TomTom 5.10 to work with the ACER N35 (Built In GPS). We have tried the following to get the software to work and yet it still refuses to get a satellite lock:

1) Tried all GPS settings (NMEA (All Options), Bluetooth, Cable)

NMEA Settings listed on PDA:

GPS on navigator/COM3/S2410 UARTT0, S2410 IRDA2410/sc2410 USB Cable

2) Waited 2 to 6 mins under each GPS setting for a lock

3) Re-installed the software several times using version 5.00 and 5.10 of TomTom.

It cant be a problem with the receiver as Destinator works perfect. Have i got a setting wrong or is TT5 not supported on this model of PDA. I would appreciate and help people can give me thanks.

Set Acer to NMEA Other, 57600 Baud and GPS on NAVAGATOR and all will work for you.
I have the same equipment :D

Thanks for your help. I just happened to be in an area of bad reception. TomTom 5.10 works fine with full reception in my BMW Cooper.
