prob with tomtom 5 gps`s

HI Peeps
I have been using a medion pocket PC running ver 4.20.0 ( processor type Samsung s3c2410 )for some while now, and have used the software supplied ie navtech. I have had no problems with it at all pick up at least 6 sats all the time and some times 8, other then its out of date by 1 year now so I have recenty purchased tomtom nav5 and it will not pick up the sats?????? any ideas. I was told that my PDU would run it. so cannot understand why the software is having this problem .....same car same position for GPS. and also tried outside car.

Hope someone can come up with an answer

Your software probably is Navman, not Navteq.
In TomTom , select "other cable GPS" and SP2. That should work

thank Lutz well give it a try next couple of days at the moment have reinstalled the other software less agro !!
