Navman ICN650 upgrades

Can anyone tell me if it is of any real advantage to upgrade my ICN650 from SmartSt 3 to the new software SmartST 2005. Supposidly the address search etc has been much improved (and so it should) Doe's it have 7 didgit post code? Would there be any point in taking the Map upgrade that is also available with the SmartST 2005? and is it worth the extra money?
I understand that a new version of this software is also going to be released in October, anyone know the date of this as I cannot get any feed back from Navman support
