iQue M5 v/ TomTom

I got a question from a person who try to use TomTom 5 on a Garmin iQue M5.

It works OK but after 2 to 5 minutes the GPS get lost of its satelittes.

Any fix for this?

Sell the M5? Seriously though, it sounds like it could be a resource issue. The M5 is a little low on memory out of the box, with TomTom installed as well it could be struggling.

I hadn't realised the M5 could output NMEA?

I do not know much about this item... but I tell this person to back off.

About NMEA... It does work with TT5 (for a while) but dont ask me why 8)
