If all was working ok, & now not, could it be where you have the maps loaded, in other words a problem with your sd card, what happens if the sd card is removed, does the busy circle still show or do you get can't find maps error messge?

Just a thought, you may have lost the link to the tt5 program, try starting tt5 from within the folder that ttnstart.exe is located in, think it's in a folder called tomtom, sorry don't have tt5 loaded at present & my tt3 setup is all on the cf card so will be a different layout to yours.

I'm running out of suggestions, the card may still be a prob, are you able to load tt5 to main memory - this would at least eliminate the card.

What do you think or have you done this already?

Hard reset first!!!

hi Pete
i don't have that much memory on my device on 50 MB left but these maps need i think more than that

i might be a sd card prob if it is there any way to solve it ?

other thing i can read and write on the sd card with no problems because i have vedio and songs on my sd card its working fine also i tried to save files on it thats saved ok as well

You don't have to load the maps into main memory, they can be left on the sd, the actual mem needed for just tt5 programs is around 2mb, may be less.

I'm trying to suggest an alternative setup to get tt5 going.

sorry should have read your posts, may be worth loading tt5 onto the sd card, instead of in main memory then, or.....

Alternatively I would be tempted to wipe everything clean and start fresh, no other progs loaded just tt5?

Has tt5 got enough mem to run on your xda?

How much free mem is showing?
