Keep having to re-select the BT GPS device on start of TT5

I have an iPAQ 2750 and had been using TT3 wit a Fortuna BT GPS unit … now bought TT5. Installed and all working Ok … except each time I start up TT5 it complains of "No GPS device."
If I go into preferences/show GPS status and select configure, and then “Other Bluetooth GPS” it then asks me to “pair the BT device …” I click continue and then select Bluetooth Serial Port com8” and it works OK.

This is a bit of a pain to do each time, especially as the BT GPS is paired and active … how can I ‘lock in’ this device to TT5 so that it automatically connects.

How long are you waiting for the unit to respond to firing up the Bluetooth, I have found this can take upto 45 seconds, if you have the PDA configured correctly all you need to do is run up TomTom and wait, the Bluetooth will turn on and auto connect to your device - give it a chance though - Mike
