Please help!!

I'm trying to upgrade from the nav3 to nav5. When i try to do this i'm asked for my product code, which i get from the inside of my CD. Then i'm asked for the device code?? Apparently it's suppossed to appear when i either start the software or open the GPS icon at the bottom right corner. But in both cases i still can't get it! Please help it's driving me mad.

ive not used tt3 for awhille so got to properties about or go to www.ttcode.com and put your product code in there that should bring up your product code

I'm happy with the product code it's the device code that i can't get!!!

Nav3 doesn't show the device code until you need it: when you try to open an unactivated map.
You don't need the devicecode to order the upgrade to Nav5.

You only need it after installing Nav5 and at least one 2005 map, it will show the devicecode when you start Nav5

I've been using the software for awhile now. When you say opening an unactivated map, do you mean using the software for the first time?? I've tried removing the software and re-installing to see if it appears when i use it the first time but to no avail. Sorry if i sound abit thick......but it's really starting to drive me up the wall.
