I recently bought the NavMan 4420 Bluetooth bundle and am having some difficulties in getting it work on the road...

Currently I can get it to last about 5 minutes, before it disappears and is no longer running. It then won't restart for at least 30 mins.

In some respects its similar to the post http://pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=14933
but the PPC is an E-Ten M500, with 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM.

I have only two apps installed - uBooks and NavMan.
These were clean installed on new PPC.

What I have tried:

Installed to ROM. Mainland UK maps on SD card.

NavMan (no GPS) on all day - this works
NavMan and GPS on all day (stationery in house) - this works

Upgraded standard 256MB Kingston SD card to 512MB Kingston Elite Pro Card (50x speed card)

I'm at a bit of a loss.

After a "stop all" in RAM settings the program memory is 54.3MB total, 39 allocated, 14 in use, 25 free.
After starting NavMan - 38 allocated, 31 in use, 8 free.

Any help appreciated!

After a number of frustrating weeks I have decided to cut my loses.

I now have a copy of Destinator PN, which does everything I need, and works with the 4420 GPS receiver that was included in the box.

Special thanks to smartdevices, who provided lots of help and advice.
