Hi
I've just purchased a TTG500 and have discovered that although it has the latest map data (v571), it's missing a major local road that's been in existance for 9 years.
I'm thinking of returning the unit (not sure how I can trust the rest of the map database) but I cannot work out how to delete information such as the phone book, home address recent destination etc. I did take a full back up of the SD card, so is it simply a case of copying the original files back onto the SD card or is this info stored in flash memory? Resetting the unit does not remove this info.
Also, any recommendations on other GPS devices with more accurate mapping?
thanks |

I don't know about the phonebook, but if you delete the Great_Britain-Map.cfg file in the map folder this will remove all personal settings. _________________ Richard

Reset factory setting perhaps? Delete contacts.txt? |
