Installation prob. TomTom Version 2.22 !

Hi all,



I am running TT2 ver 2.05 on my Ipaq 3630 quite good. The upgrade to TT 2.22 goes alright but when running the soft ir shows only vers. 2.05. Any idea .. ???

Can you please try to copy the install file (the arm.cab file) to the "My Documents" folder (or its french equivalent), do a soft reset and then start the cab file from the file explorer? This will ask you if you want to reinstall TomTom. Say "Oui" and then it should be installing the new version. Make sure you have plenty of RAM left - 2.22 seems to need more of it to run than 2.05 did

Thanks for your reply, I have done what you recommended. Copy the file (navigator_fra.ppc3_arm.CAB) to my "Document folder" and run it. The installation went until the end. I reseted the Ipaq but no change has been noticed. I still have the old version (TT and Gps driver)

For info. I found that the rev. I have is TT 2.01 and Gps driver is 2.05.

this leaves us with two options - either the cab file contains the 2.05 version or your existing exe file is write protected (read only). Can you try deleting the navigator exe file on your pocketPC and then repeat the install as above?
