NEW SD CARD CANT FIND MAPS

Hi Guys



I have just brought a 512mb sd card from kingston to copy all my TTG300 Files onto and add extras, the problem i'm having is that once i have copied all the files over (using both TTG and an SD card reader writer the TTG300 loads the card but then comes up no maps found. I have checked that all the files have copied over from the original TTG300 card and this seems to be the case, I did Formatt the card before doing all the above can anybody help please.

Not all card readers work well, but try making sure that you copy the files from the original card to a folder on your main pc, then go to that folder and make sure that all the files have no Attributes set at all, not Read-only or anything, then try copying them to your new card. If that fails to work then its the long process of connecting your unit to your main pc and then transferring them to the new card while its in the unit if you can do that with the TTG.

Still woud not work trying to copy from folder on main pc so did as you suggested and linked up both the card reader and tom tom go and copied that way finally worked
