Tell me, is a tomtom go the same as a tomtom navigator or is it a total different system Embarassed

Different.
TomTom GO is a dedicated navigation system, nothing else possible on there. TomTom Navigator runs on PDA's (palm or pocketpc). PDA's offers you more stuff like email and internet and games and whatsoever. The general user interface for GO and Navigator are alike though. Whatever you choose depends on your wishes and needs.
