Problem with 9537/Axim/TomTom5-no gps device???????

Hi Guys,
I'm all new to this, got TomTom installed, 9537 shows a continous blue and flashing green light. The Leadtek software shows I have access to 6 sats and git gives all the long/lat info.
Problem is Tom Tom shows no GPS device.
I have tried installing the receiver as a bluetooth, I know the units are paired and on serial port 6. But I can't get TT to accept it.
Any advice would be greatfully appreciated
